New Year’s Eve is actually always the most special evening of the year at L’invité. Always lovely guests and a very good atmosphere.

We all go outside at midnight. We toast to the New Year with our guests and neighbours. The Bloemgracht is the best place to be in Amsterdam.

Every year at the end of the Bloemgracht there is spectacular professional fireworks.

New Year fixed menu. Extraordinary—one of my all time favorite dining experiences. One in our party is vegan, and he’s accustomed to food that’s an afterthought. Not here-everything purposeful, elegant, creatively and elegantly constructed. Thank you so very much for making our New Years in Amsterdam memorable.

Just Great!

Have been there for New Year early dinner. Everything was perfect, service was pleasant, atmosphere was very welcoming and warm, and food was delicious. House wine is pretty good too. We spent there 3 absolutely amazing hours. Highly recommend!

New Year’s Eve Dinner

My family of 4 had New Year’s dinner at L’Invite. It was a prix fixe menu. One of our family members is vegan, and we informed the restaurant of this before our arrival.

Our meals were exceptional–perfectly constructed and choreographed. My vegan son was so appreciative of the thought put into his meal. The wines were perfect with each course, and the evening unfolded with each serving a delight–complexity, taste and delivery. I’m in my 60s, and this meal we had stands out in the top 2 of lifetime New Year’s dinners.

The owners worked the floor, serving and informing us about each course.

Just truly wonderful all around. And then we left, just before midnight as Amsterdam erupted in the most contagious New Year’s celebration, with a quantity of fireworks I’ve never seen.

New Years Eve at L’invité. New Years Eve degustation at L’invite was perfect. Imaginative food, fresh ingredients and well prepared supported by interesting and plentiful matched wines. The fire works celebration outside at midnight was an unforgettable bonus.

Great atmosphere

A perfect diner for new year’s eve. Nothing to say except compliments. The food was refined and good, as well as the different wines. The atmosphere was great and we had beautiful fireworks in the street nearby the restaurant.
